Bella Vista is a beautiful, well-planned community located in Northwestern Arkansas. It was taken over sometime ago by John A. Cooper who formed several companies but now operates under the name Cooper Communities, Inc. The current population is around 16,000 residents year round, but we also have a lot of seasonal guests.

Bella Vista is located just beside the Ozark Mountains with most portions of our subdivision having a great view. There are eight beautiful lakes that draw all types of recreation and eight championship golf courses. In 1991 US 71, the main highway that splits Bella Vista, became four lanes. Until then, Bella Vistas' population consisted of mostly retirees. The new road opened up travel for many commuters who worked in other areas, but choose to live here.

The Bella Vista Property Owners Association assesses and collects fees from all property owners. They use these funds to finance the four country clubs and four recreational facilities. People who own property and do not use these improvements are still charged, in other words, all absentee landowners.

There thirty six thousand acres with nine thousand acres being common area. We have around eight thousand homes with approximately sixteen thousand residents. The area has good schools and good government. We are close to many other Arkansas towns and only about two and a half hours from Little Rock the capital. The area is beautiful and growing at a good pace.
